Area Lake Info

Ennis (Muir) Lake This 30 acre lake has a maximum depth of 30 feet and is in the Southcentral part of the county. There is public access and you can fish Northern PIke, Bass and panfish here. This lake is located in John Muir County Park. The park is 125 acres and offers picnic grounds, hiking trails and a rest room. It boasts naturalist John Muir's childhood home which has been preserved and was named a National Historic Landmark.
